Bac Ninh inaugurates new facilities at Bac Giang High School for the Gifted
BAC NINH – Authorities in Bac Ninh province on August 19 inaugurated new facilities at Bac Giang High School for the Gifted, highlighting the government’s push to expand modern education infrastructure and nurture future talent.
The ceremony was attended by senior provincial leaders, including Nguyen Thi Huong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Lam Thi Huong Thanh, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council; Tran Van Tuan, Deputy Head of the National Assembly delegation; and Phan The Tuan, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC), alongside teachers and students of the school.

The project, launched in 2024 with an investment of more than 44.8 billion VND (nearly 2 million USD), consists of a four-storey building with classrooms, administrative offices and multi-functional study rooms, covering nearly 4,100 square meters.

Supporting facilities include a transformer station, pumping station, technical infrastructure and landscaped grounds.
The project was managed by Bac Ninh’s Civil and Urban Development Project Management Board No. 1, with a consortium of contractors responsible for construction. Officials said the facility was completed two months ahead of schedule to serve the upcoming school year.

Speaking at the event, PPC Vice Chairman Phan The Tuan praised the efforts of departments and contractors for their timely completion, stressing the importance of the school as a center for nurturing gifted students who will contribute to the nation’s modernization drive.
He urged teachers to remain dedicated and students to study diligently, embodying the province’s emphasis on human-centered development.

Bac Ninh authorities said the project reflects the Party and State’s consistent priority for education and training.
The province aims to maintain its position among the country’s leaders in academic quality by expanding modern facilities, strengthening management, and fostering both academic excellence and well-rounded student development.
