Bac Ninh, Incheon trade unions share experience in supporting workers
BAC NINH - A delegation led by Ko Gi Su, Secretary General of the Incheon Regional Office under the Federation of Korean Trade Unions (FKTU), visited and held a working session with the Bac Ninh provincial Federation of Labour.
During the meeting on May 11, the two sides focused on exchanging experience related to trade union models, activities supporting trade union members, and building harmonious and stable labour relations within enterprises.

They also discussed measures to support workers amid accelerating digital transformation and deeper international integration.
Bac Ninh Province currently has around 820,000 workers employed in enterprises, playing an important role in the supply chains of electronics, high-tech, and processing-manufacturing industries.
Alongside industrial development, Bac Ninh’s trade unions have continued to be strengthened in a streamlined and effective manner. In recent years, trade unions at all levels have implemented various measures to care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.

Thach Van Chung, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Federation of Labour, emphasised that the Republic of Korea (RoK) currently ranks first in the number of investment projects in Bac Ninh.
Throughout business operations, local authorities and trade unions have consistently accompanied and supported enterprises, helping resolve difficulties and creating favourable conditions for stable development.
He highly appreciated the visit and working session by the Incheon trade union delegation.
Over the years, the Bac Ninh Federation of Labour and the Incheon trade union have maintained strong cooperative ties through delegation exchanges, friendship activities, experience sharing in trade union operations, and worker support models.
In response to the warm reception from the Bac Ninh Federation of Labor, Ko Gi Su congratulated the province’s trade unions on their recent achievements and expressed his hope for closer cooperation between the two organizations in the coming years.

He noted that such cooperation would further strengthen relations between Vietnam and the RoK.
As part of their visit to Bac Ninh, the Incheon trade union delegation also visited Bac Giang LGG Garment Corporation JSC at Nghia Hoa Industrial Cluster in Tien Luc commune, as well as Shinsung Vina Co., Ltd. at Song Khe - Noi Hoang Industrial Park.
The delegation learned about production activities as well as the living and working conditions of employees at these enterprises.
