Bac Ninh provincial Party Chief Nguyen Hong Thai meets industrial park enterprises

BAC NINH – Nguyen Hong Thai, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Bac Ninh provincial Party Committee, on November 27 visited and held working sessions with several enterprises operating in local industrial parks.

At Luxshare ICT in Van Trung Industrial Park, company representatives said the firm operates plants in both Van Trung and Quang Chau, recording average growth of nearly 50% over the past decade.

The provincial Party Chief Nguyen Hong Thai and the working delegation visit the product display area of Luxshare ICT.

Luxshare ICT Bac Ninh currently employs around 60,000 workers, including about 5,000 Vietnamese personnel involved in key stages of production. Its major products include consumer electronics such as earphones, smartwatches, speakers, data cables, wireless chargers and cameras.

The provincial Party Chief praised the company for stable operations and compliance with Vietnamese regulations, reaffirming that Bac Ninh considers corporate sustainability central to the province’s development.

He said the province remains committed to creating the most favourable conditions for investors, including Luxshare ICT.

Later the same day, the delegation inspected Que Vo Industrial Park Expansion 2 project, invested by Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation with registered capital of more than 1.8 trillion VND (78.4 million USD).

The project covers 140.34 hectares across Chi Lang Commune and the wards of Phuong Lieu, Bong Lai and Que Vo.

After field inspections, the provincial leader called for continued outreach to secure public consensus on site clearance.

He said the province considers the project a priority and assigned relevant agencies and local authorities to step up communication on its significance for Bac Ninh’s socio-economic development.

The province, he added, will accompany the investor, remove obstacles in a timely manner and work to accelerate project progress.
