BAC NINH – Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long on August 19 attended a ceremony to inaugurate Hanoi Law University’s new training campus in Bac Ninh, one of 80 projects nationwide launched to mark the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day on September 2.

The event, held in Dong Nguyen ward, was part of a series of groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies across the country, all connected through an online system.

Hanoi Law University’s second campus, built on nearly 28 hectares since 2019, represents an investment of about 1.8 trillion VND (74.6 million USD). The facility is designed to accommodate teaching, research and study needs for about 10,000 lecturers, staff and students.

Planned as a modern and integrated complex, the campus features classrooms, libraries, dormitories and multi-purpose sports facilities, aiming to provide a comprehensive learning environment.

The selection of Bac Ninh province for the new campus not only followed government directives but also reflected the university’s long-term vision of developing a high-quality legal workforce for Vietnam.

At the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Long and other delegates unveiled a plaque marking the new campus, while offering flowers to congratulate the university. Earlier in the day, the delegation toured several of the key facilities on site.
