The ceremony was attended by Vuong Quoc Tuan, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) of Bac Ninh province and representatives from some provincial departments and agencies.

The Song Mai-Nghia Trung IP infrastructure development project is implemented in Viet Yen and Da Mai wards covering more than 197 hectares at an investment of over 2.8 trillion VND (111 million USD).

The project has a 50-year operational timeline starting from the date when the land is allocated, leased, or its usage purpose is changed.

The project consists of the items: the factory, operational zone, wastewater drainage system, dormitory and some auxiliary items.

Phase 1 of the project at a scale of over 100 hectares is scheduled to complete infrastructure construction and attract secondary investors from August 2026.

Song Mai – Nghia Trung IP is expected to be one of the good models of infrastructure investment and investor attraction.

The former provincial Party Secretary Bui Van Hai and PPC Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan press the button to commence the project.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, PPC Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan stressed this is a significantly meaningful event, which affirmed Bac Ninh province’s determination in expansion of industrial development space, investment attraction and heightening its stature in the national economic map.

For effective implementation of the project, he requested the investor to mobilise resources to ensure construction progress and quality while strictly obeying legal regulations.

The local government and people were urged to continue their close collaboration, support and engagement with the authorities and investor during implementation of the project.

At the event, the delegates pressed the button to commence the project.

The event will be held at the National Exposition Centre as the main venue, connected with 79 other sites across the 34 provinces and cities via teleconferencing.

 

Bac Ninh prepares for groundbreaking of Gia Binh international airport project

VinEnergo launches rooftop solar, battery storage projects in Ha Tinh
