Phuc Hoa commune hosts series of events to promote 2026 lychee season
BAC NINH- In order to promote early ripening lychee, Phuc Hoa commune will organise many programmes to attract tourists, expand the market and enhance value of the lychee brand.
The commune is planned to host a series of activities to promote early ripening lychee on May 23.

Particularly, “Phuc Hoa City Trail 2026” running race themed “welcoming the early ripening lychee season” takes runners through lush lychee-growing areas, vividly showcasing the landscape and unique charm of the local special fruit orchards.
On this occasion, the commune awarded the 2026“Beautiful lychee gardens” contest, granted exploitation rights for products derived from the “Ancestral lychee tree”, organized booths showcasing early ripening lychees and signature local specialties and launched a fund-raising campaign in support of the Fund for the poor.
According to Vice Chairman of the communal people’s committee Nguyen Bien Thuy, Phuc Hoa early ripening lychee is entering the harvest season when traders come to purchase products right in the gardens at high prices. The province has 15 voted beautiful lychee gardens, exceeding the target.
The programmes are expected to promote the brand of early ripening lychee and spotlight the locality’s agricultural potential, OCOP products and experiential tourism.
They also create opportunities for businesses, cooperatives and traders in the province and from other localities to forge stronger market connections and expand product consumption channels.
These activities also contribute to honouring lychee growers, exploiting the special value of the “Ancestral lychee tree”, fostering agro-tourism development and forming signature tourism products.
The event organization saw close coordination among government agencies, local units, villages and businesses.
