Permanent Deputy PM visits Hana Micron Vina in Bac Ninh

BAC NINH –Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh on August 15 visited and worked with Hana Micron Vina Co., Ltd., a South Korean-invested firm operating in Van Trung Industrial Park, Bac Ninh Province.

He was accompanied by Nguyen Van Gau, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Vuong Quoc Tuan, Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; senior officials from the Government Office, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Trade; and leaders of several provincial departments.

Hana Micron Vina specializes in manufacturing and processing integrated circuit boards for mobile phones, smart electronic devices and robots.

Established in 2001, the company has invested over 600 million USD in Bac Ninh to date, with plans to increase its total investment to 1 billion USD by 2027.

It has positioned itself as one of Vietnam’s strategic investors in the electronics industry, operating a major plant in Van Trung Industrial Park and employing more than 2,000 workers.

In response to a shortage of skilled semiconductor labor, Hana Micron Vina has partnered with the Vietnam-Korea College of Technology to train a high-tech workforce, building a foundation for local talent development and contributing to the formation and growth of Vietnam’s semiconductor industry.

During discussions, the Permanent Deputy PM praised the company’s achievements, noting its well-structured development strategy and long-term vision.

He said the company’s success reflects strong confidence in Vietnam’s investment climate and serves as an encouragement for other businesses to expand production and enhance quality.

The central leader and delegation toured the company’s production workshops, where he encouraged workers to continue improving their skills, upholding responsibility and creativity, and contributing to sustainable growth.
