Free health examination provided for 3000 workers in Bac Ninh
BAC NINH - Vietnam’s General Confederation of Labour, in coordination with Bac Ninh province, the Vietnam Young Physicians Association and Mega We Care Vietnam launched a free health screening programme for 3,000 workers in the northern province of Bac Ninh.
The event was held on May 10 at the February 3 Square in Bac Giang ward under the theme “Giving Health to Workers – For a Healthier Vietnam,” as part of broader efforts to improve healthcare access for industrial workers.

The event was attended by Nguyen Anh Tuan, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, and Nguyen Hong Thai, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, along with provincial leaders.
A key feature of the programme was a series of specialized “health stations” focusing on respiratory health, skin care and musculoskeletal conditions.
Workers received consultations and screenings from doctors for common illnesses including respiratory diseases, joint pain, premature skin aging and urinary stones.
In addition to medical examinations and consultations, workers took part in interactive activities, games and received gifts from organizers.
Organizers said around 3,000 workers would receive health checks and consultations on May 10 alone while approximately 10,000 workers across the province are expected to benefit from disease screening activities during the wider campaign.
The programme includes general and specialized medical examinations, health consultations and early detection of occupational and non-communicable diseases.
During the event, central and provincial leaders visited health consultation areas and presented 110 gifts to disadvantaged workers.
Following the launch ceremony, the delegation visited workers receiving treatment at the provincial oncology hospital and presented gifts to low-income workers living in boarding houses in Quyet Tien residential area, Tien Phong ward.
